For the safety and comfort of our members, we do not allow observers. You are more than welcome to try your first class for free to get a taste of the experience!
All of our classes are open to all levels. In fact, we have beginners at just about every class! Each of our instructors are able to show modifications to make your workout comfortable, effective and safe. Please just mention your concerns to the instructor prior to the start of class and they will be happy to help you and always remember that YOU are in control and can stop or slow down, grab water or take a Selfie at any time! ?
YES! We are all about promoting your total health (body, mind and spirit) and that means we encourage you to include ALL the components of fitness including: cardiovascular health, strength, flexibility, endurance, speed, power and agility by trying all our different classes and offerings.
Please keep in mind a regular strength program will:
burn fat
build and restore your body
shape your muscles and give them tone
increase your metabolism to help you reach your ideal weight
help promote balance
increase your energy level
improve your mood
help to maintain bone health
prevent plateaus
No, class passes and memberships are non-transferrable, and non-refundable.
Although we do not have showers and lockers, we do have oversized bathrooms for changing and freshening up and all-natural body wipes available in our Healthy Lifestyle Boutique!
The only thing we ask is to please not wear street shoes or black-soled shoes because they can ruin our beautiful floor. Other than that, we want you to feel comfortable so please wear whatever you want and feel good in and please remember to wear a good pair of supportive sneakers – they really make a difference in your workout and to avoid aches and pains later.
You’d be surprised how many people feel the same way, but don’t worry, these classes are surprisingly easy to follow and are geared for the average person who just wants to get fit and enjoy the process! So for your first few classes, be sure to watch the instructors feet and JUST KEEP MOVING! Give yourself the permission to learn something new and please don’t take it all too seriously (we like to keep fitness fun!) Also, we’ve found that the magic number of classes where people feel like they start to “get it” is usually about 3-4 so please give yourself a chance.
